Engineer Sergio Mata Montero

President

Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Costa Rica, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Preparation and Evaluation of Investment Projects from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Degree in Stock Markets.

He is Director of the Project Management Division at the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE). In ICE, he has worked in the procurement, design, negotiation and integral administration of financing with the international development bank, for the construction of infrastructure projects in the electricity industry: generation (hydroelectric, geothermal, wind projects); transmission and control; and distribution and commercialization of electricity in Costa Rica; He has also worked as a Local Energy Specialist in the IDB Country Office in Costa Rica and has worked for the Electrification Council for Central America (CEAC).

He has served as the formal representative of ICE in executing a wide range of loan contracts and innovative financing structures for investment projects in the electricity industry with the participation of international and local financial organizations such as the IDB, BID Invest, BEI , BCIE, OECF, JBIC, JICA, IFC, BNCR, BCR, BP, among others.

Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems, with a Masters in Business Administration. He has more than 18 years of work experience at the Costa Rican Electricity Institute, where he started work since 2000. He started at ICE in the beginning, Software development activities and coordination of systems development teams for the Electricity Business. . From the 2009, he works as a Manager of Information and Communication Technologies, as well as Smart Grid and Technological Innovation, has strongly promoted the issue of Information Security under the ISO2701 Standard for the Electricity Business and the CNFL.From the 2013, it is part of the Business Informatics Committee, where it has promoted actions in conjunction with the other companies of the ICE group for the better use of Information technologies, this at the request of the Technical Standards for the Control and Management of Information Technologies of the Comptroller General of the Republic. From the 2016, product of the business of the Electrical Industry, has been promoting the issue of the Electricity Business Transformation of the ICE Group, achieving the identification of all those new Business Models (products and services) disruptive technologies, innovation processes technological and digital transformation, with the aim of promoting the Electricity Business and CNFL of the ICE Group, towards sustainability and competitiveness, both in the assurance of income, and in the improvement of the digital relationship with the client, for its retention and proportion of intelligent services, beyond kw / h.

Graduated in Business Administration from the State Distance University, with just over 37 years of service in the CNFL, he has worked professionally in different areas of the company such as: Warehouse Anonos, with experience in Administrative Contracting, and Control of Inventories, in the last 5 years in Internal Control and Comprehensive Risk Management, he is Deputy Delegate of the Professional Branch of the CNFL at SIICE. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Costa Rican Confederation of Democratic Workers Rerum Novarum CCTD since 2016.

Lawyer with a Master's Degree in Business Law and a Master's Degree in Tax Advice, she has a Postgraduate degree in Administrative Contracting and Telecommunications Regulation, she has a Diploma in corruption and sanctioning regime from the Public Treasury of the University of Salamanca, she has completed several courses of the Advisory Program in International Business of INCAE and the Postgraduate Course in Internationalization of the Company of the University of Valencia. He has a work experience of more than 18 years at the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, where he started work since 2000 year. Since its inception it has worked in the legal area of ​​ICE in different areas, but with greater emphasis on administrative contracting and new business. She was an advisor to the General Management of ICE during the year 2014. During these years he has been a participant in the drafting of various normative documents such as the Regulation to Title II of the 8660 Law, the Internal Administrative Contracting Regulations, the Alliances Regulations and other forms of business association, the Hiring Processes Regulation of ICE Companies, the Regulation of Sale of Unregulated Products and Services of the ICE Group, among others. She has joined the ICE Investment Committee, has served as an alternate advisor on the ICE Procurement Board, and has been a legal advisor to the Corporate Sales Board since its creation. Advises on the sale of unregulated services and new businesses in the electricity sector at the corporation level.

Marlen Venegas Oviedolicensed Marlen Venegas Oviedo

President

Bachelor in Public Accounting at the University of Costa Rica. Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Administrative Contracting. Fidélitas University. Postgraduate in Management at INCAE. Postgraduate in Energy Markets from the National University of Colombia. He has 25 years of working at ICE.

She is currently the assistant of the Manager of Electricity in Finance and is the Financial Manager of the Electricity Sector in the Integrated Management System.

Graduate Erick Picado SanchoLicenciado Erick Picado Sancho

Law degree and Notary Public with a specialization in Energy Markets from the National University of Colombia, he has a specialization in Management Skills from the University of California, Irvine and extension of the ADEN International Business School.

His professional practice has been developed during the last 14 years in the Corporate Legal Division of ICE with some previous experience in private law firms, with which his performance has been in the legal advice of the electricity and telecommunications industries. He has advised on behalf of the ICE in different entities of the Regional Electricity Market and the Regional Committee of the CIER for Central America and the Caribbean, as well as in the projects undertaken by the ICE from year 2002 onwards.

Luis Fernando DelgadoGraduate Luis Fernando Delgado Negrini, M. Eng.

Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and banking from the University of Costa Rica, with a master's degree in Modern Manufacturing Systems from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from UNA / PMI. In the public function, he has worked at the Municipal Development and Advisory Institute first as Head of the Department of Financial and Tax Administration and later as Executive Director ai, at ICE in Operations and Logistics Management as Internal Control coordinator and currently as Advisor to the General Management in the Internal Control area. In the private sector he has worked as Administrative Financial Manager, in companies covered by the Free Trade Zone Regime mainly, he is also a professor at the School of Public Administration at the University of Costa Rica, and taught different courses as a professor at the Production School Industrial of the Technological Institute of Costa Rica, at master and bachelor levels.
