La Anonos Workshop Unit it is a dependency of the Compañía Nacional de Fuerza y Luz SA specialized in the repair and measurement of mechanical elements.
The experience acquired and developed by more than 50 years, together with continuous improvements and technical innovations, has allowed us to provide spare parts manufacturing and repair services for hydroelectric power plants and heavy industry in general, as well as consulting services for the assembly of new hydroelectric projects .
To face the future successfully, we have the most modern productive means and highly specialized personnel. We also have systems of metrological assurance, quality assurance, environmental control, risk control and personnel health, in accordance with international standards, all in order to offer a high quality service to our customers.
Precision Mechanical Process
This process specializes in the work of machining the different elements of hydroelectric turbines and heavy industry in general, through the use of lathes, drills and conventional milling machines, as well as the use of numerical control machining technology (CNC) .
The machining processes start from activities of reconstruction of elements to the manufacture from the raw material using qualified personnel for them, in addition to cutting tools supported by the technology of interchangeable inserts, elaboration and interpretation of drawings in drawing software and controlled by measuring equipment suitable for the required dimension all with its due process of quality control.
It specializes in the repair of parts of hydraulic turbines and heavy industry in general by means of processes of deposition of welded metal in commercial steels and stainless steels, using processes of electro coated (SMAW), process of arc welding under protective gas with consumable electrode (MIG), permanent tungsten electrode (TIG) welding, in addition to welding in bronze, turbine bearing recovery processes using the babbitado technique, among others.
It has qualified personnel in welding processes of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Part No.9, as well as high-tech equipment in processes of welding and cutting of metals with plasma, use of high quality raw material and also with its controlled processes mediating world class quality standards.
Dynamic balancing processes are also carried out in one or two planes, in a bank of floating type with capacity for 9000 Kg, in pieces with a maximum of 2.5 m in diameter and with a length of 6 m.
The need to minimize repair costs, increasing the metrological quality demanded by the hydroelectric generation industry, has translated into the need to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction, considering that with limited resources we must compete against modern technology, a situation that It requires improving our processes and the quality of services through innovation to be more efficient and competitive by meeting the requirements to maintain the relationship that must exist between the accuracy of the measurement equipment used versus the requirements and specifications of the element to be repaired.
The accuracy of the measurement equipment and its suitability for the proposed use, is determined through the calibration of the measuring equipment, calibration that must be carried out in accordance with the guidelines established in the standard ISO 17025: 2005Entitled "Requirements for the technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories."
The Metrological Assurance of the Anonos Workshop Unit will provide a response to two very important scenarios; the first, to comply with the requirements of section 7.6 of the standard INTE / ISO 9001: 2008 and the second, the internal calibration of the measuring equipment through the operation of a calibration laboratory since not everything consists of disposing of the better instruments, but you should establish an optimal relationship between your "goodness" and its cost. For this, the guidelines provided for this purpose in the ISO 10012 standard: 2003 and the same ISO 17025 must be considered.
